As of this post, I have exactly 1000 war game matches played. That’s according to the Halo 4 stats page, so it shouldn’t include anything like JIP or DNF. Right now I’m in the process of playing a couple more games to see if that will trigger Waypoint to register all 1000+ games. I tried to input the code twice so far, and both times it said I hadn’t completed the requisite number of games. I came back to Halo 4 specifically to unlock the last Waypoint avatar award, but just when I reach the goal, the system trips me up. Honestly, the game is still fun, but the deserted playlists and server lag are killing me almost as much as the enemy is.
So, any advice, other than “keep playing”? Having to grind out another 1000 matches when the game is this vacant would be frustrating.

games have to be played from start to finish, no joining games (halfway through as a example), no quitting games, no lagging out (and getting booted from games).as it is- somewhere (possibly on halo 4 game stats, it might say you’ve done enough games but only halo waypoint stats will tell you the true and correct number of games played from start to finish). hmm I thought one of the unlocks was actually 2000 games played not 1000 games. good luck unlocking it, as it stands in NOV 2016, I cant get any of the classified waypoint codes to work on the xbox waypoint app and I’m searching through posts looking for the reason
Please note that I said this was on the Halo 4 stats page which shouldn’t included DNF or JIP games. I did a test, and both the site and the waypoint app both count invalid games. They don’t even say the same number of games. Waypoint says I’ve played 100 more “valid” games than the website does. And this is despite the fact they should only be counting valid games. So the stats are broken, and the waypoint app itself might be the problem, as it could have just stopped accepting the classified codes.
In the end, 343i doesn’t care and won’t help me. Microsoft and Xbox Live will only point me back to this page, even after I’ve told them the devs don’t respond to my help requests. I’m just not going to unlock that last reward, unfortunately. 343i literally gives zero f***s either way, so I’m not going to waste my time anymore.
