This thread was pretty much sparked from another thread where a positive poster got hate. You wanna complain? Lets complain.
I’m being tempted to move from halo from the community alone. I love this game, but i hate the crummy community here. They’re not fans. Fans don’t say stuff like “I knew halo 4 would suck because of this and that.” Fans don’t just up and give up before the first update. Why do people even bother to “promote” this game (and series) if all they do is give it hate and drive away the population? They are the sole reason this game is starting to fail, NOT the game itself.

“Real Halo fans”? Riiight. Being the SOLE reason to its demise because it was not the EXACT WAY they wanted it does not make them even classified as fans in general. I play the game because it is FUN. Nobody can tell me otherwise. they make a cult and attempt to conform the others so they can puff up their chests and actually think they are important. You play a game because you wanted it. I’m sorry if you dont like the changes, but every single halo game to date has changed dramatically in some way. And in each, sure, you brought some changes. but you have gone too far with this one. Way too far.

Honestly, eff the competitive playlists! eff the K/D! I have never once actually seen a player actually have FUN while playing competitively. Rage quitting, screaming, and overall having a horrible time for lousy reasons. And for some reason, the people who are supporting these playlists are the arrow-head for the slow death of halo. (however, if you play competitively and your still pretty happy with the game, lemme know. I’ll play with you, hands down.)

I love this game. I want to see it go places that has never been gone before. But this lousy community will kill it. Pure and simple.

You want to boost the population and support the game? SET AN EXAMPLE.

Trust me, I know. but i’m just one guy. a full time college student. I fight for every minute i can play halo, and thats not nearly half as much as much as other players here. People need to see the real reason halo is dying.

The irony here is really overwhelming. I don’t usually comment on these threads but let me put it this way:

By making a complaint thread like this you’ve just fed the timeless war machine of complaints that runs rampant on this site- if you are truly concerned for the state of the community- don’t even make thread like this, ignore every thread you see like this.

Respond and recognize the few areas that do show merit with genuine game discussion. If your going to let the swathes of filthy humans here affect your view of the game, then you’re doing it wrong.

True, but the community IS the primary factor here. And It isn’t just me, the whole population drop is staggering.
