So far, all of the maps are great. Complex is too big for ITS, but it’s made even worse by the cod kids who thing you play this game by just crouching in a corner and stare at the screen for the next 15 mins.
Ragnarok is now filled with losers who spawn with the dmr and camp with active camo now. Solace is UTTERLY DESTROYED by the same group. 3 out of 5 of the games we play feels like pulling teeth. No fast pace game play, just slow burn as you see your radar jammed and realize an entire team is just camo/p.vision as they hold up near the towers. For the love of God 343, please make active cam a ONE ordinance pick up only. Nothing halts the flow of this game more than idiots camping out while being invisible.
players don’t ruin maps, bad maps ruin maps.
disagree. The AAs that encourage camping are what ruin maps. Valhalla was fine in halo 3, but not it’s irritating to play hide n go seek with active camo teams.
Even more of a reason to kick their -Yoinks!- in a good game of slayer!

and when they shoot at you they reveal there location so you can fight back, not to mention that while they’re hiding in camo all the time they’re taking themselves out of the game for a good deal of time.
they really aren’t an issue.
I actually haven’t noticed many AC users. But, I haven’t played since last night. I’m guessing it’s drastically changed since that one daily challenge.
This man, he speaks the truth. I hate Invis as an Armor Ability. It needs to be an ordinance drop that acts like Halo 3. No radar jamming and not affected by movement and lasts for 60-90 seconds.
They removed armor lock (thank god) because it slowed down gameplay and was a “pause button”. Camo is the same thing. Completely slows down gameplay and leads to the person using it to not move at all and the enemy to crouch around hoping to see that shimmering outline before they are back smacked.
Horrible Armor Ability. Takes no skill to camp back invis and pick people off.
except, it’s not a good game of slayer. It’s a boring game of hide-n-go-seek where you’re basically pulling teeth just to engage someone. You wing them with a bullet and they run. You approach on radar and suddenly the red dot is replaced with a bunch of blue dots. Last night we finally broke up a team’s spawn only to find an arsenal of power weapons they’d been hording as they camo hid. We won the match but was severely annoyed by how boring it was.
Those aren’t cod kids, there’s always been plenty of those in halo. gotta learn how to deal with them.

Uh, if someone is camping with a saw or scatter shot while invis, them shooting at you= you just got camped. Plus it’s not like it’s ONE guy, it’s a whole team bunched up around corners while one uses p.vision to alert his team. It’s a lame way that slows the game to a crawl.
> Those aren’t cod kids, there’s always been plenty of those in halo. gotta learn how to deal with them.
…yeah I remember playing teams full of active cam campers in halo 3 all the time.
If you keep standing around in the open for campers to pick you off then that’s your fault.
Just play slayer and stay away from the campin spots. Kills win matches, not some dude with 4 kills and 0 deaths.
Active camo is the most used AA by far in every game I played, but it doesn’t bother me because most of the other AAs are better.

force them to come to you or slowly force them out of there position, it really isn’t that hard to deal with honestly.
its only a problem if you keep walking at those blue dots on your radar, those blue dots conveniently alert you to there presence in which you can take counter measure and action.

i had to deal with them in reach, wasn’t hard at all, in 3, 2 and 1 people would group up in one area and wait for someone to arrive. it isn’t a new strategy.
I wouldn’t blame certain players; they are just the players 343 have intentionally tried to attract, playing the way the game encourages and rewards them to.
With that said, camo should never be an AA and Valhalla never should have been remade; it plays awfully when you can spawn with a weapon like the DMR. Extra awfully when players are constantly getting snipers in personal ordnance, or when one team is gifted a binary rifle through random weapon spawns.
Players will camp with or without active camo. Halo 3 was the exact same thing on Valhalla.
But regardless, Valhalla is won through the skill of your team. Even if the other team has map control, vehicles and power weapons. Just buckle down and take them out one at a time and you can win. Light Rifle and DMR are your best friends.
honestly halo 4 was designed for cluster -Yoink- defensive garbage gameplay i will now list reasons why
-instant respawn create 4 v 1 situations and can finish off that pesky guy who just killed you
-aa’s oh no im a shot down ill just regen…oh no i suck ill just camp with camo etc etc…
-rock paper scissors weapon gameplay - light rifle best at range if you have carbine good luck (literally good luck who knows with the magnetism game)
-too many power weapons, and too many one shot kill weapons
-join in progress creates lag and uneven games where you always join a losing game (scientific fact)
-perks, worst idea ever
all contribute to defensive garbage cod gameplay you do well if you sit back and let them come to you, halo ce was the exact opposite where you had to find power ups and weapons by advancing on the enemy
why halo used to be good
-everyone the same
-if you wanna be an assault rifle noob you get a low kill time as it takes no skill to use that gun
-low magnetism meaning you can strafe
and that was it…simple games are the best and most skillful
infinity slayer is far from it

Who the hell said i was running around the open? We actually just started guarding the pelican area after a while since thats a fav area to active cam. However, a team mate actually stumbled onto part of the other team camped out BEHIND THEIR OWN SPAWN. Imagine playing a game like halo 4 where you’re forced to essentially count the seconds for the game clock to run out since the other team refuses to actually play.

Idiots who camped before halo reach ALWAYS got dealt with quickly. Active cam actually allows them to hold up the ENTIRE match now.
