I have experienced this in a lot of games after the update, it will make a little noise and blink 3 times. Anyone else experience this or know what it is?!?! Please help.

This is the new visual indicator of the pinging mechanic. Before Anvil’s Legacy, pressing up on the Dpad would make a little icon appear above your head so your team mates would notice you. With Anvil’s Legacy, that still happens but your radar will also ping to show that you’re actually doing something.
I thought it was to help locate bosses but it doesn’t seem to highlight bosses when I can’t see where they are.

Nope, although that’d be pretty cool. Quickly scan the radar range for any enemies close by but not moving.
Well, it’d be cool for A.I. at least.

Correct.
Honestly, it’s not that useful of a feature. Ideally it should allow you to ping and your name will show up across an entire Warzone map because currently if you’re too far away from someone, your name and service tag will be hidden.
Just gotta hope that people you’re playing with understand that you’re pinging and you need help,.
So help me understand a little better please. I know when you are shooting it goes from Blue to a yellow color, how else does it show up to them, the same yellow as if you are shooting?
