Yeah, it is really true.

Halo needs more urban environments. Give me a parking structure or something. I want to fight in a map equally vertical as it is horizontal and I don’t want it to be a P.O.S like Swordbase was.

City environments are awesome. They are also good for your health.

Give us a BTB capable city environment. Something with roadways and lots of rooms and angles to drive and fly and shoot from.

It has been a while since I’ve seen something like that in a Halo game. I miss it.

1 Flag on Turf… Ermahgerd

Seriously I want to get a nice, gritty city map to mess about on. Make it a little forge friendly too.

I have this itch that normal maps can’t scratch. I want to see Banshees flying under ruined highway overpasses and burned and ruined office complexes acting as sniper vantage points. I want to drop four stories off a building and give some clueless screwball the peoples elbow while hearing the stomping feet of a Mantis echo from an alleyway in the dead of night.

This needs to happen.

“We’re absolutely creating multiplayer levels from scratch, so these are not play spaces that are recycled from the campaign” This statement by Frank (in my opinion) was a jab at Bungie. So they are not used in the campaign but they were used in Spartan Ops!

I think that when they were designing the maps they had to allow for Spartan Ops, that’s why I think most of the maps lean on the side of mid to big size plus they are Human or Forerunner. In all the other Halos we saw Covenant, Human, and Forerunner maps from all over the place.

This is a repost of why I think we did not see more environments.

I believe either the first or second map pack will actually have something like that.

So much Turf all the time. And Terminal. And The Pit.

And it was a wonderful thing.

Yeah. Well. They need to stop being lame and throw the hungry dogs their bone. I crave a City map something fierce. Something nice and sizeable too.

Like Headlong, or the Halo Reach recreation Breakneck?

> Like Headlong, or the Halo Reach recreation Breakneck?

I guess. I’d rather they revive something that Reach hadn’t though if it needs to be a remake map.

Turf and Terminal, god I miss you Halo 2.

I clicked this thread just to see if anyone remembered Turf. I never hear it getting any love. I loved that map so much! It allowed all play styles to be effective. Bring back Turf!

We need a large city themed Forge map containing Headlong, Turf, District, Terminal, and Foundation.
