After beating Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary on Legendary and not playing it for a while, I decided to go back and play it on Easy with only the Classic graphics on. Anyone else doing of done this?
I’m playing in the old and new graphics at the same time, I like to see the difference between the 2001 and 2011 graphics, and the '01 graphics produce no lag in co-op.

I don’t know about co-op, but it feels as though classic mode has less input lag period. For a Halo game, Anniversary mode has a horribly clumsy render cycle.

But no, I don’t typically play in classic mode. It’s occasionally useful, but if I want a classic Halo experience, I play the original game on oXbox. It’s infinitely better, even visually, as classic mode is quite graphically broken; many of CE’s visual nuances didn’t survive the transition to Halo PC, and classic mode further compounds the issue with horrible colour balance and even more broken stuff.

There’s also noticeable lag when crossing loading points.

Lucky.
One of the main reasons I got CEA was because I didn’t have a Xbox 360 hard drive, which is required to play original Xbox games.
