Anyone got a suggested comp/ strategy for yapyap late game?
Twice lately I have established total map control early and mid game and my opponent has managed to fight their way back from 1 base because I can’t crack it!!
Got to the stage where everything is fully upgraded, tried scarab and variations of counterball with locusts.
Locusts & Methane with Leaders or Scarab and Leaders if it’s late game and your dominating the map. Normal army comp would be Counter ball with leaders, couple locusts and methane wagons.
Which leader where they playing and what map as this would be a factor in trying to break a turtle?
Thanks - which units do the methane wagons impact? Is it worth having them late game?
One was Jerome and one was Decimus. Always struggle to remember the map names…

Any Grunt unit they buff, that includes Cannon Fodder, Locusts, Heavy Grunts, Brute Riders, etc.
Probably not worth the population considering only 2/3 locusts then?

The methane wagon increases the effectiveness of locusts by quite a bit, not to mention it debuffs your opponent’s stuff, and makes your heavy grunts obliterate air without issue.
I’d go with just getting the two wagons from YapYap’s unit drop, otherwise they cost too much to be worth throwing the point in (unless you want the upgrade for them but I forget what it does).
