YapYap gameplay is interesting (3v3 discussion).

I have played 6 matches as YapYap and more with him as a teammate, and I found his play style different. Cannon Fodder aren’t powerful per se, but with enough of them they can be an amazing support unit early game assuming you are playing 3v3. I can’t say for sure how Yapyap will pair with other leaders yet, but one thing I am positive about is that he will become a staple for 3v3. I can’t say anything about 1v1 or 2v2 though.

Pushing in the early game seems to be required for YapYap as his mid game is just okay while his late game is pretty bad.

Finally, YapYap’s core infantry, which states it is effectiveness against air, actually isn’t really that effective. I would switch the color from green to yellow. I haven’t used his anti-building units much so I can’t say how effective they are. That’s pretty much what my take on YapYap is? Any other thoughts?

The grunt heavies actually become green for air once they are fully upgraded. You can’t trust cannon fodder with anything, they are meant to be CANNON FODDER!

His methane wagons and goblins can be very troublesome, but they are refreshing and cool to use

I am aware of the upgrade being needed first, but even after the upgrade they seem too weak to be given the green air symbol. I think the unit is okay though. I don’t know what I said to get the second sentence though. I didn’t really have any expectations and when playing with them they I thought they were fine too, and that they really shine when en masse.

I feel he works best when using goblins and fodder early game. Supported by some heavy hitters such as a jerome mantis and a chosen. This has worked pretty well for me so far

You seemed as though you wanted all infantry to be green against air, so I was explaining why Cannon Fodder is an exception.
