The air spam prevents you from making units because they can instantly strip bases I was having fun for a while until I found out that hornets can force your opponent to only make marines. Just fly in and strip every base on the map clean in seconds.
The massive unggoy population production speed helped me counter this a few games ago. Once you get logistics 3 you’re pretty much instantly popping out the little gas suckers.

Infantry just completely destroys air and leader powers recharge fast I disagree

It doesn’t matter they kill your buildings faster and they have support powers too. Try it out for yourself if you don’t believe me. So a kinsano can drop 30 pop of hellbringers in one support power.
Here we go again >_>
Ita just for a weekend guys keep cool.

Yeah and Jerome’s omega team comes down with 3 Mac blasts and a lot of leader powers been buffed so explain how hellbrigers are supposed to be a problem
What? Super units or T3 vehicles (possibly T3 air as well?) seem to be a requirement in many games to actually do any significant damage to bases.

You said “infantry kills the air” right? 30 pop of rapid cool down veteran 2 hellbringers with the radius of a tiny inferno dropping on your marines might be a problem if your planning on building marines from your stripped bases.
Are you guys really going to complain about a fun game mode they made for us. It’s not supposed to be balanced. It’s just for fun. So let’s just take it for what it is in fact it looks like they tired to break mostly all all the learders.

I have to call bs on your argument for multiple reasons:
- Air is not OP. If you are referring to how Banished tech 2 bases had very low health, that was patched up in a hot fix. They are now much stronger against lower level units as the game mode intended - Core infantry just got a huge DPS buff vs infantry. They can tear it up easily and you should already have a good pop of it by the time your opponent has air flying around. - The most common argument against wolves and reavers, that it is “too expensive! I have spend energy while they get to tech up using supply-only units,” is no longer valid. You can build AA pop for pop, supply for supply, against air. If you scout out your opponent like every reasonable player should then you have no excuse not to have enough AA to make them worthless. And now that AA isn’t useless vs everything else there is no reason not to have some on hand at all times just in case. There really is no reason you should be losing to air during the Yappening, especially when you consider that most leaders have damage dealing abilities that mess up air and cool back down in just 2 minutes or less. Don’t be so quick to yell that the sky is falling. There are a lot of OP things this patch and air certainly isn’t one of them haha

I have to agree with you dc longshot it is super easy to destroy an army and if you struggle so much air you are probably doing something wrong

What I’m referring too is the structures around the base not the central base itself. Hornets and banshees can melt the surrounding structures around your base with just one circle. If you keep getting your buildings sniped then you can’t build wolverines. The central bases never die so that’s not the problem. I agree with you for the most part that the air interactions with units are fine. Just not the surrounding structures. Also to respond to your point about support powers keep in mind that they have that option as well. Kinsano can drop 30 pop of level 2 hellbringers, inferno, napalm missles, and flame hog drops to counter your infantry. You may have the actual bases established but there is no stopping the surrounding structures from breaking like they’re made of glass. I will admit that air ruining the mode is a bit of an innacurate title for the post as the problem is more about the survivability of your surrounding structures rather than the things that are killing them. Hope this clears up my issue
