Returning to your earlier point, it is not really clear how much of the remaining player base does not like the current event. Appealing to popular consensus is not always a good idea; you can learn a lot of from outliers so I wouldn’t be so dismissive. Also I think it is weak argument to suggest the problem is with the individual, as you put it.
Casual chaotic fun is such a great way to describe this event. You’re spot on because I love to sweat when playing Infinite and this event is super chill and hilarious playing.
Yeah that same thing happened to me after getting like, six tiers in two matches. It just slowed down a lot. Not a huge fan of the rewards anyway, so I’m just content to play the mode :p.
Its definitely a problem with the individual. Not in the definition that you’re probably thinking. The problem is that you’re thinking that if it isn’t fun for you, it isn’t fun at all. Like a movie isn’t bad just because you think so.
Nothing can please everyone. But if you aren’t part of that half-a-star rating against the 4.5 rating, that doesn’t mean you’re right.
But again, that doesn’t neglect any valid points you want to critique the mode. Just overall saying “its bad and sucks” is not a critique.

But the problem is you are using the “you problem” argument in a place designed for feedback where people can only share their subjective opinion about something. Occasionally you get someone speaking for their friend or significant other.
It’s a weak argument because all you are effectively saying “you are not sharing in group consensus therefore it’s a problem with you”.
I don’t think anyone here is telling others not to play a mode because they personally don’t find it fun. I’ve always advocated players try for themselves because I know we are all different.
I think what @UniSectorian means is that saying it’s an overall terrible mode just because you dislike it is not appreciated.
In other words he just didn’t appreciate my opinion, because no one can state anything other than subjective opinion.
If that’s how you want to interpret it, I guess.
Yeah I agree with this because every match I’ve played, even when I lost I still had fun, and without fail they all went into overtime because the score was tied or just at zero. Honestly, I really hope they don’t get rid of this, at least the fiesta BTB because this was the first game mode that made me actually think I’m play halo again
