Depends on your definition of âcool stuffâ, I suppose. For me this is the 1st sword stance I donât have to pay for and therefore will be my first one. The kill effect looks funny, and more.
Social events like this should be every weekendâŚ. Maybe not as at the extent of a free give away but at least with a weekend rotating fun playlist.
I feel like we should get or ask nicely a 343 member like our delightful community managers/employees to choose a well known or their favourite playlist to be put forward⌠no need to go through extensive playtest - just let us do it. â- being fun⌠it doesnât matter if itâs bad itâs all about participation. Being there and making memories
Then we can have a bit of a friendly banter every Monday discussing how the weekend frenzy went.
Imagine that it would make some good community streams and a start to building up the once loved community.

Game modes for this week were lazy and not âweirdâ enough. Looking at the MCC Yappening event, I expected 4v4 Action Sack like modes, like 300% speed, swords only strongholds. BTB Fiesta with the campaign weapon variants on racks kind of fits into âweirdâ, but Skockets and BTB Shotty Snipes IMO fall short. I really hope there are actual âweirdâ modes still to come next week.

This event represents the true spirit of Halo multiplayer. Fun without more, nothing to worry about whether you win the game or not. Hopefully more events like this in BTB mode, with more players and more crazy weapons. It reminded me of the good old days of Halo 3 custom games.
The challenges as far as Iâve seen are also perfectly suited to this event, just accumulate points and play games.

Not a fan of the rewards but probably the best Event theyâve done where I had fun Iâve playing it, itâs what Halo supposed to be like, the Challenges for the event are better and it should remain that way, I donât need the feel to win itâs just something to goof around with & I donât need to play serious

I really enjoy this event.
Big team fiesta is very fun to me.
So much chaos and so much unpredictable funny gameplays happening all the time.
What I donât like is the new weapon coating is only for the AR and magnum. The armor coating is only for one core. These coatings for both weapons and armor should be for every weapon and armor core.
Who would say, an event that is not based on competition and having everything 100% balanced is more fun for a greater % of the Halo population. Could this be extrapolated to other sites? Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

But I am a bit disheartened by how many of my team mates just camped in the peripheries and took pot shots across the map. Even hiding behind drop shields.

Skockets was actually fun, a shame it was one match only in an entire evening. Getting <500 points per match is like pulling teeth.
Most of my matches have been unfun âchaosâ; forced to play BTB on East Coast with over 120 ping because no one plays in EU. Maybe if youâre in the States you have a better experience but it has always been the worst mode by a mile.
And theyâre still there. Thatâs really my only complaint for these events - both minor and Fractures. It was a lot more enjoyable when we could unlock one reward tier per day just by playing the event - I think that was the Winter event? Having challenges that we might get in the carousel of challenges makes for a very frustrating system.
What is the event about? The name gives me the impression of the Unggoy.
The game modes look fun. I actually might play a bit for the first time in a while. Hopefully my ping and what not isnât crap. I donât have much issues with the game modes, but the rewardsâŚ
Just more silly stuff that in my opinion screams Fortnite. You can bet all you will see now for a long time Is that stupid kill effectâŚugh! Really wish I could turn that stuff off like in MCC.

The needler is quickly becoming a favorite weapon lol. Not even the upgraded one too. Iâve actually only found the upgraded one once lol.
Wrecked a bunch of over shielded enemies before I went to bed this morning with it. Was funny as hell.
Also, was worried upgraded weapons wouldnât count towards kill with âspecific weaponâ x amount of times, nah, they seem to count lol. Got a lot of kills with the upgraded battle rifle, all seeming counted.

Give it a try. Itâs not for everyone but you might enjoy it.
