people need to stop hating on halo 4. been waiting for this games for years.
Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but yeah this forum has gotten a little over run with the hate this past week.
Everyone has their own opinion on the game, its just some people dont like it as much as other Halo games, I still found Halo 2 to be my favourite, but I dont mind Halo 4 or any other Halo games.

-Because everyone has a lame–Yoink- “adapt or die” attitude about changing the originality in the game. There is no adapting, no one should have to “adapt”, I’m not a fan of Call of Duty or its fanbase, I never particularly complained about how their games were like Halo because it didn’t bother me, I don’t play Call of Duty. I love Halo; its just everyone assimilating to the same -Yoink- in a different disc; and simply defending/accepting the cash-in. It’s turning into Call of Duty with shields and aliens. In Halo 3 the only customization you had available was your spartan’s appearance. Now you can basically spawn with a sniper rifle, a shotgun and powered-up grenades. There is no regular slayer matchmaking, Regicide is broken. Ordnances, perks, loadouts, really?
Sleight of Hand - Dexterity
Hardline - Ordnance Priority
Scavenger - Resupply
Marathon - Mobility
Blast Shield - Explosives
Overkill - Firepower
Marksman/Ninja - Sensor (not quite the same, but the same effect, right?)
The other perks are either Halo specific such as Shielding or completely useless.
Ordnances are ridiculous. “Being newb-friendly” is an utter garbage excuse. It took any new player no longer than 10 minutes after his first game on every map to figure out where the good guns will spawn so they could contest for them. That’s no reason to change a game to that extent.
I had no problem with armor abilities. I thought those were okay, though they were similar to perks and yet they had their good-sides. This whole loadout and perks crap is over the line though. Giving you the option to customize your Spartan down to its perks and starting weapons doesn’t just make you more free. It just gives you less of a choice in whether you want to play Halo or Call of Duty.
What some people expected out of Halo 4 was that 343i wouldn’t take the Halo out of it, removing Slayer, Big Team Battles (There are no 32 Player battles anymore) and several other game-modes from matchmaking, a chunk of vehicles (Hornet, Falcon, Revenant, Spectre, Chopper, Prowler; not that all of these vehicles were removed with release of 4), and the fact that basically all Spartans were the same, so it was fair when you killed each other with whatever weapon you started with or happened to find. Halo should have never changed THIS much.
It doesn’t matter what the cover says on it, who supports it, who wants to respond all witty-like, to anyone complaining about it, it’s not Halo.
I think that’s why a lot of people are complaining about it.
Also yes, I’m going to go play Halo 3.

Words can not describe how sickening that list is. Mainly because people get upset at the Halo to CoD comparisons and think it is unjustified, yet you prove right there that Halo LITERALLY took exact gameplay elements straight from CoD. Those are just the ones that are directly similar too.
This is the second worst Halo, right behind Reach and I will never understand how so many people think the multiplayer of this game is so great. Halo 1/2/3 were great, this is garbage.
I dont hate ot, Im frickin loving it…maybe this happens to me because on the past couple of years Ive played a lot of other games besides the other current gen Halos. Spec Ops The Line, Dishonored, frickin Acecombat 6, Max Payne 3, Shadow of the Colossus, Battlefield 3, inFamous, Resistance 3, the Portal games, El Shaddai etc etc, maybe that detached me a little from my flaming 10 years old Halo fanboyism…

And yes, god -Yoink!- I would like the same crap over and over again. With minor changes like new guns, new vehicles and the same game-modes. New maps, ways to integrate Forge Maps into matchmaking, New ways to customize your Spartan’s appearance. That would make it a -Yoink!- sequel and not an entirely different game.
Devs should get used to adding minor things in while keeping balance and not removing or changing them entirely. That’s why the industry is becoming garbage lately.

So, stop your crying over every little thing. Pick up a controller and just play the damn game like you’re meant too.

What, Halo is mot the entire industry, no Halo, CoD,Battlefield togejer arent neither

You are wrong, this game is far from anything I’ve ever seen or done in CoD, and I used to be a really big CoD fanboy.

youd hate the game you spent full price on too if you couldn’t play half of it. couldn’t play multiplayer the first 2 days at all, now I can only play 5 maps. mission 6 only loaded on my first play through, and spartan ops is still just a digital paper weight. the thing is though I still love what I can play (though playing exile 10 times in a row is getting quite boring).

There was nothing in that post that was particularly “little,” and every little thing(s) can be a lot of big, unnecessary and unwanted changes. Hence the complaints.

I did, I played the way Halo was meant to be played. It didn’t work because its not Halo.
I’m not saying Adapt or Die. I meant, that if you don’t like the way the halo series is going then don’t play the game anymore. Stop thinking that this Halo series has to be JUST LIKE Halo’s1-3. That’s why I said stop living in the past.
