Y is there so much hate going around on these forums? Everyone is complaining about halo 4 when about 90% of the people havent even played it…I think it looks amazing and 343 is doing way better than bungie ever did…stop -Yoinking!- about something uve not even tried
anyways has any one heard about the new remake map yet? ive not heard anything since that tweet by frankie last week or so
It’s not as muc people complaining as it is giving opinions. Negative or positive.
The ranting or -Yoinking!- kind of complaints are coming from the minority of the community…the very loud minority.
yeah…theres just a lot of negativity on the forums for this game…idk y…it baffles me…it looks stellar
people have every right to be nervous after the abomination that was vanilla reach…Halo 4 is a make or break game for alot of people myself included…we dont want to have to give up on a game that we know could be amazing…
Im liking how halo 4 is shaping up, i just really hope the strafing and reduced aim assist/magnetism is capable of allowing a large skillgap to flourish, i dont care if i get outclassed by a great shot and strafe in fact i applaud it…All reach offered me was a sprinting sword noob who im sure i would of demolished on halo 3.
A lot of the people who are not happy with the way the game looks, and the additions the game has, tend to have an educated opinion, same thing happened with Reach. We were told “Don’t worry about AA’s, or Bloom, wont effect the game that much” Yeah that ended up being complete bullshizzle, one can assume that it will be a similar case with Halo 4.
This game is a make or break for me.

yeah i see what u mean…reach just sucked -Yoink!-…but if u watch a lot of the gameplay vids it looks like theyve done a real good job trying to balance this game

Because a lot of them want the same game as Halo 3 with absolutely no changes at all. So, we’d just be getting the same game.

The game does look pretty fun, besides AA’s being in the game, but the one thing that really does me in, is the perks, I will never be able to get over the fact that the game will now have even more “Rock, paper, scissor” style gameplay.
That is why the forum is so boring now… Many people going dark. 
You guys say this is make or break but in a few years at E3 they release that Halo 5 teaser you know you’ll be getting all giddy. I know you’ll be on the forums saying how you’ll be excited and posting your wishes.

not really…halo has usually been about skill compared to other games…like i know in moderngayfuck3 the first person to be seen is killed…theres not even a chance to defend urself…while in halo u can be shot upon first and still come out victorious depending on how skillful u are…so in a way its not always rock paper scissors =]

Bungie did pretty good until Reach, I’ve got nothing nice to say about that mess. With Halo 4, 343 is taking the mistakes from the pile of elephant feces that Bungie called “Halo” Reach and either removing it or replacing it with a better, more balanced feature. Halo 4 is gonna be amazing, no doubt about it

halo one was great…halo 2 was pretty good (hated bxr)…and i didnt like the fact that halo 3 didnt have hitscan…and then the only good thing for reach was hitscan…thats it…i thought the campaign was all over the place and the multiplayer was sloppy…yeah i still play reach as much as i dislike it only cuz its the closest thing to halo 4 so i gotta get ready

Sure they can, whats the problem is that people think their opinion is fact when it isn’t and they downplay anyone who doesn’t agree with them as “casuals,noobs,stupid,” etc
And with everyone thinking like that, it creates a lot of hate.

There have been plenty of gameplay videos to form an opinion about it. Just like your opinion that it looks amazing. If you haven’t played it, then you’re also forming an opinion based on videos and pictures just like the other 90 percent of the people.
It’s human nature. Or some are just trolling
Loads of people are cancelling their purchase of the game because of minor changes, like the legendary symbol changing. People need to grow up and stop being so dramatic.
yes ive not played it but im being constructive and optimistic about the game…lots of other people are putting down the game
Misplaced sense of entitlement. General inability to move on from previous Halos. Feelings of superiority due to their apparently high skill-levels. Nostalgia-induced anger.
And here and there, a valid, constructive opinion. Rare as an elephant bird.
It’s especially funny when people pretend that they have a say in what goes into the game. I saw one guy say “I’m paying for it so they should do what I say”. Lol
