XSX - Can't map mouse scroll wheel or side button

When I set the side buttons on the mouse in the menu settings, they only work if I’m holding down left click. Realistically I don’t want to have to click to use it as that fires my gun.

The scroll wheel doesn’t appear to work at all, but it works on Splitgate so not sure why MCC isn’t agreeing with it.

Any ideas how to fix, especially if it can be done on the game or the Xbox itself?

Ah I did read that thread thank you, but there was no solution. Was hoping it had been fixed by now but appears not.

That is a shame, having buttons on the mouse makes kbm very easy to use!
