Does anyone know what gives the most XP per minute or per game?
Heroic Warzone Firefight with a boost gives a good amount of XP.
Warzone Assault gives a good amount too, and the matches are shorter. As for Arena, BTB seems to award the most, but I thought I read a while back that Infection awarded more XP as well, but that may have been for a limited time.

thank you
According to Lukethenotable the playlists that granted the most XP per hour were swat and WZ assault.
I think mythic WZ firefight was another option but you had to win a good % of games to make it worth while.
Keep in mind that his conclusions are based on xp per hour not the playlists that grants most xp per game.
Check out Luke on YouTube for the full explanation he had math/spreadsheets to prove his point.
I’d post a link but I’m on mobile

This!
Also, SWAT is really good for arena games as well because the matches are so short. Always equip boosts of course.

Normally I would agree, but SWAT isn’t always as reliable as you’d think.
Once you start reaching the Diamond/Onyx bracket, finding matches becomes extremely difficult. I’ve had search times as long as 15 - 20 minutes or even longer looking for just one match because not enough people populate that playlist.

They have a SWAT playlist but no objective playlist? Damn.

Not a dedicated objective playlist, no. The closest you have is Team Arena, which features CTF, Strongholds, or Slayer.
Or Team Skirmish, which is social, and features those gamemodes along with Assault.

Man, that’s such a letdown. Slayer in an “objective” playlist?
What ever happened to Oddball, Stockpile, VIP, or any other creative objective playlists? Disappointing.

The ball in Halo 5 allows you to make gamemodes such as Grifball, Oddball, Assault, and Ricochet.
Oddball has been made in custom games, along with Ricochet, but both haven’t made their way into any matchmaking playlists. They both play fantastic for Halo 5’s gameplay, so hopefully they throw them in somewhere.
How does a custom game give you xp?..warzone assault is high for the time

I’m glad that they’re playable with custom games, but I’d love to see them in Matchmaking. In my eyes, there’s no reason not to put them in. Having more options and more objectives will just make the playlist more fun.
I, for one, am a big Oddball player. In Halo 4 I maxed out most of the commendations for Oddball and was one of the main reasons I kept playing. Why they limit it to only 3 modes, one being Slayer is beyond me.
Warzone FF with AI kills boost gives the most xp.

Ironic that we started talking about this a few days ago, and now Oddball is taking the place of Castle Wars as the new rotational playlist.
Dreams do come true.
I think Warzone Assault gives a good amount.
SWAT, Heroic WZFF, and Warzone Assault are the ones I hear brought up more than anything else, especially if you have boosts on.
Heroic Warzone FF and Legendary Warzone FF u could use the boost in Legendary Warzone FF and u could earn 12k or 13k XP
How many days can you go from level 141 to level 152?

The A.I. kill gambit (Legendary) and Medal Count (Ultra Rare) boosts are really good.

Yeah, I can’t complain too much since they are actually bringing it to the game.
However, I’m still a bit sad that it’s only for the rotational playlist. I’d love for it to be in the game permanently. I probably won’t even get to play Oddball 'cause I won’t be back in the States 'till August, so they’ll probably already rotate it out by then
In any case, I hope you and everybody else enjoys it!
