So, normally I never really make an appearance on forum sites. I just prowl like issues and figure out why I’m having the same issue as the poster. But this time, no one seems to have come across this one. Day one into infinity, I get to 24 SR and I lose my ability to gain XP. That’s understandable, although not ideal, as I did take the day off to complete the campaign and play a whole lot of multiplayer. Now day two rolls around, and after one match, I got to SR 25 and hit with “Online XP Limit Reached”. I was so uncertain what to do I tried another match in case that was a repost from the previous night. It wasn’t. It’s so hard to want to play a game when they take away your ability to unlock the gun you want, the armor you’re gunning for, and even that stupid emblem; so I stopped. With today being my last day off and the reason I have it off is no longer on the table, I decide to post: Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I unfortunately agree… It just sucks that my days off would be better not off, because by the time they fix this, I’ll be back at work.
First the server issue, which from my recollection, Reach and earlier Halo 3 both were smooth at launch (Because they open beta tested) and now second a bogus XP cap.
Are any moderators even on this forum or is it just going to be gamers unhappy about things in the game?
i think you have a problem if you got max xp in 2 days…
Im just waiting to hit it again. I hit it with less than 5hrs gameplay during the midnight launch, stuck at lvl 24 for all evening last night. I have about an hour or so today so i CANT wait to not earn my XP again.
we have been waiting 5 years we should at least get to enjoy it
Trust me, I didn’t play my heart out today, I woke up and played a single match and got my XP limit after 4000~ XP. I would understand a routine similar to Reach’s but this is just nonsensical. D: Doing this doesn’t even help them prevent cheating, because there’s so many people hitting their limit that it’s going to be impossible to determine who “cheated” to their limit and who didn’t.
If their were a skill ranking system this wouldn’t be a problem…just sayin
Well – There is going to be a 1-50 ranking system. They announced that it will be patched in in early 2013. So, hurray to that. But until then…

Why would they add this? I don’t care if someone cheats at progression. It isn’t a big deal. Also they made the ranking system so fast and with double xP how do they expect us not to reach the cap
I was locked out yesterday before I went to bed. I wake up today excited to progress and I’m still locked out while all of my friends who were at rank 24 with me are now nearing their 30s and I’m the only one left behind. Im so pissed. This is ridiculous.

Today and Yesterday are my only 2 days off of work because I requested it off a long time ago to play Halo 4. I reached to level 24 yesterday and capped, Played till level 26 today and now I already capped…So whats the point of this double xp crap? This cap is very annoying and I’m sure they will fix it once I’m back to work and have no time to play.

To sell dopey kids Doritos and MT Dew. If they remove the cap, people would be max level in a week and start crying that it’s too easy to level…
The cap couuld be based around how quickly you earn XP rather than total XP.
Whatever the cause, it’s glitchy as hell, if people get capped after only 1-2 matches.
On my main i got to play 6 games with double XP and it was capped.
This is seriously the weakest thing ever man.
I capped last night and around 1 am it let me earn 3 games worth of double xp and capped me again…
This honestly needs to be fixed or people are just not going to play
