If you play and complete a match but get “Disconnected” at the end of the match you earn no EXP or progress towards Challenges. I’ve since completed 5 matches that yielded no progress or EXP.

thats happeend to me for 2 of my matches it didnt count it happens u just need to keep playing it. It’ll go by quick cuz thats the only XP u can earn from challenges completed.
