I’m going to get to the point, because at this point, it’s rather ridiculous. I been stuck at rank 59 for two days because of this god forsaken xp cap, while my friend, blows past it at a whopping 62. Having less hours on the game, that should not be possible considering that the xp cap should be the same for everyone. I think I’ll be getting Black Ops 2 and not get back on Halo 4 until 343 completely lifts the cap. Truely, Bungie’s cap for Reach was nowhere near this ridiculous.
I just finally got the monthly challenge of 17343 xp and they gave me an XP Limit at the same time. Now, I too am being pushed away.

The only people I seen hit the xp cap are people who played it RIDICULOUS amounts of time, or spent their life savings of double Xp points. I played halo 4 ALOT in the past few days, and all you people hit the xp cap?

OP has 3 days worth of online played and he’s had the game for 8 days, that’s like 9 hours a day.

i hit it in 6 games of infity big team… an amazing one level ranked up. currently 49

dunno if ur just not good and get no xp but i played for 2 hours yesterday with my buddy who came over and i got capped using double xp. I dont understand why they would put a cap on this -Yoink-, all it does it push people away…I thought thats the opposite of what games want…
The cap is apparently at 75,000. Getting 3000 xp a game is only 25 games, those can fly fast. I even get 3000 playing flood. So I don’t know what you people are doing that is causing you to not hit it but it is very annoying.

i played like 10 matches (of double xp) spops so thats 10k ish a match plus around 6 - 7 ish hours of MM like swat and regicide and slayer (like 2500ish per match). no cap and leveled up like 8 times.
I only played for 2 hours with double xp today and I got capped.
I understand the point of it but I mean you are LITERALLY preventing me from playing the game.

I’ve hit it in as little as 4 hours, and I’ve hit it every day for the last 4 days (including yesterday, when I had college and work.) The cap is half of what it should be, and it seems like it’s not even consistent between players. Also, challenge and commendation xp should not be blocked by it, nor count towards it, as it defeats the purpose of them and only pushes players away by denying them their reward for completion, and counting towards their cap reduces the amount they can play and still obtain xp. It’s not just people playing 24 hours who hit it. Just because you can’t hit it in 4-6 hours or less doesn’t mean that other people are unable to do so. Did you know that matchmaking spartan ops can reward you with as much as 5950 xp and it only takes around 10-12 minutes to complete?
The cap is 150,000 for all you idiots saying its 75,000 its wrong. And for all of you saying people who hit the cap have no life, it takes less than 5 hours to cap out in spartan OPS WITHOUT double exp. I’m currently SR-77 and have capped out every single day since release plus 2 days before the game came out.

im currently using track which gives me an extra 1000-1150 exp per game and getting around 7100 exp per 9-10 mins.

Dude, if you’re hitting the xp cap that frequently than perhaps you need a hobby other halo. Try working out at the gym or perhaps reading a book, then again go chill with some friends; God forbid 343’s limit on your ability to play a game to an excess forcing you to improvise a life, lol.

you havent capped every day if you are 49 lol…
people saying people have no life are limited, you’re on the forum, that almost always means you have invested more than enough time in the game to talk. Also it took me two hours to cap out…thats about 12 rounds…not that long, I don’t understnad the point of the xp cap

I am currently level 57 and have hit the cap on most days because of my Double xp and now I only have 10 matches left. I have only been playing for about 5 hours a day and hitting it. Your skills do matter, I get 6k xp each match plus commendations/challenges. On my free time I go to the Gym :D. I think for people hitting the cap WITHOUT double xp must not have much to do except play halo so I don’t completely blame them, but do take some breaks if possible, its not a race =D. Once I run out of double xp, I won’t be hitting it. I think it would be good if they raised it about 30,000 more xp because of some of the hardcore players
