XP cap is making people stop playing

Once they hit cap they are scared to miss out on big commendation bonusses
And since the campaign uses them to
they stop playing alltogether
afraid to be missing out

Now i understand you need a control in place for xp exploits and i dont mind that
But people turning of their halo game
being frustrated wanting to play but feeling not being able to or limited in their experience

I personally dont care about xp ill get there in the long run
but in my friendlists and forums i frequent theres to much people
really unhappy about this

i can not believe this is what you guys were aiming for
and its a shame really
cause you guys did an amazing job at creating an awesome halo

Because left align is too mainstream

I’m sure 343 is well aware of this, but let’s create a dozen more threads just to be really sure.

Why do you have to stop playing after exp cap?

And sometimes
when i feel really crazy
i take two sugars
instead of one!

what was that a joke?

Clearly you don’t get this because you haven’t played reach. If you hit the daily cap people stop playing because if you complete a challenge or commendation when you don’t earn xp then you lose those credits and never earn it back. so they either go into forge or theatre or custom game and it depletes the numbers in matchmaking making less people to be found so you start playing with the same people and overall everyone ends up unhappy. Just like reach we told Bungie/343i to remove it. It stops people form wanting to continue matchmaking. limitations cripple the entertainment.

while i have yet to hit the EXP cap i feel i am getting progressively closer each day.
i think there should be a happy medium.
raise the cap, but keep it.
keep us from getting match XP, let us get commendation and challenge EXP, because there are only so many challenges and commendations, and once theyre done, theyre done.
this would allow people to continue playing without the fear of losing large amounts of EXP for challenges and commendations.

No. This is a broken system that punishes players for playing the game. If someone wants to bust a 24/7 on Halo 4 they should not be punished for it. If 343i wants to prevent boosting or cheating, they need a system that punishes only those people, not one that punishes everyone.
