XP cap and connection issues

  1. i dont know if it was posted before, i guess so, but i want to bring my own experience.

  2. XP cap: i know there are reasons for that (i read the bulletin). But for those of us (like me) that play legit and just have much time to play, it spoils the game completely. dont punish the players that want to rank up legit. im really getting pissed over that. its like someone tells me i have to stop playing when i reach the cap. and since yesterday i dont even get any XP anymore. i waited overnight and i dont get anything. maybe someone can explain to me how that works. i thought after midnight i can earn XP again. but it does not seem so. maybe if i get an explanation for that im not as pissed as right now.

  3. Bad connections: i life in Europe. to be exact in Austria. and i have to say, although i have a very good internet connection, good ping, good upload, its like one game in 20 is not laggy. i have to say in other games its not like that. i really try to find a problem on my side, but there cant be any, when its perfect in other games online.
    i really love halo, and i think H4 is a very good game, but if a game is not decided over skill but connection thats unfair and that pisses me off. it takes almost all the fun out of it.
    what i also missed was a search option for good connection. even if thats just a psychological thing and does not do anything, ppl think there will be a better connection.
    and i also know that it just launched, but it was like that in halo all the time. it was in halo reach all the same but not that bad.

i think that are my major concernes.

i haven’t been able to gain XP since passing midnight either. its really frustrating how little information there is on this. i understand that they dont want people abusing the double XP promotion, but limit the number of daily double XP matches, not the total amount of daily XP. i feel cheated for unlocking challenges and commendations and not getting the XP for it.

Yeah same here, haven’t been earning XP since before midnight and still cant now.

Its really annoying because yesterday I didnt play all that much I just happened to finish a lot of high XP commendations.

Any help would be golden.

i wonder if it could have anything to do with changing timezones. in halo reach that was very common. und i heard that in H4 you might get banned from matchmaking. though i dont hope so. i just used it in reach if i knew i have more time to play the other day do gain some xp for the next day if i reached cr cap, because i did not play that much on the following day.
whatever, i think its pretty annoying und pretty much destroying my game experience. i will try to get some XP now, i very much hope it works today. fingers crossed

Same! I got the monthly challenge and didn’t get my credits and after tht I couldnt get my xp from games. Now today I check my xp and I still didn’t get any from the monthly

I feel like we kind of got screwed on this cr cap. Like seriously? Bungie would be disappointed.
