343 u need to fix that. Every time I put on a boost in JIP, I get no credit for boosts. Yes it’s true, I’m at the top again with 14 boss kills carrying my teammates while they only have 4 boss kills…and I get no credit for all that time spent in 1 game…
What is JIP? There should be a wikia for obscure acronyms.

When you are using an XP / RP boost, you must give it some time for it to “settle in”. Using one at the last moment may not reward you with the bonuses.

I don’t know, I shouldn’t have to see if I get Jip, because I don’t know when I’m being put into the middle of a game. It looks just like a normal start up. I’ll have to really watch my boosts then and see if I loose any.

Wait until you see the countdown. If there is no countdown then it is JIP

Yeah, you do get it back.
I think it also applies to RP boosts. I think I’ve used a few RP Jackpots only for them to not actually do anything afterward. Not entirely sure.

I’ve picked a boost with enough time before the match begins and if it turns out to be a JIP, the boost won’t count and you will still have it in your collection. But you only find out once the match is over. Since this bothers me a lot, and if I decide to stay in the match, I just won’t use high end req.s or use req.s I normally don’t use much. I know it’s not fair to my team mates, but it’s either that or I quit the match and have it count as a DNF on my record. I refuse to use my best req.s if I won’t get the possible points I could get by using them. The DNF will happen even if I turn off my console. It’s not cool to be forced into a losing game, but on the other hand I once got a victory without firing a shot. I guess the only way to stop the JIP’s is if 343 eliminates the Leave Game option. I’d rather wait for a while than get stuck with a JIP.

I’ve noticed this. It gets really annoying that I equip a boost and don’t get the boost’s reward. Only happens with JIP, like you said.
