Is the new progression system applied to only the Battle Pass? Or is it also applied to your spartan’s progression?

There is no Spartan progression- you do not have a level. The number next to your name in the flight was just a emblem that could be changed in the waypoint app.
The only XP progression in the game is the BattlePass
So beat the battle pass in 3-10 days and go back to our real lives for the next three months until the next season comes out. Cool.
At launch, it’s only the Battle Pass. Hopefully XP progression comes later.
As far as we know right now the only form of progression is Battle Pass levels via challenge completion. There is no Spartan Rank right now that can be leveled up via just earning experience, although I have a feeling and hope that they will add something like that in the game after launch. Even if its just something that unlocks a few new emblems or maybe some armor coatings it would be nice. It’s just a little bit weird to see stuff like +100 or +50 pop up when you get kills or assists or do something in game and then not have that actually go towards anything. Not a huge deal but it does feel nice to rank up your level through playing even if its not actually earning anything ground-breaking. There’s a reason so many players loved old school COD prestige levels even if they were basically unlocking the same stuff over and over again. I’m also personally okay with battle pass levels being through challenges as well, since games like Apex and Fortnite have done that and it hasn’t really detracted from those game drastically.
Gawd i wish we get a spratan rank for infinite. It would make things so much better
the fact that there is not progression outside of the battlepass is stupid and I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about it
