XP and Challenges

I know this has been stated before, but Halo Infinite needs to feel rewarding. I managed to finish all of my weekly challenges (skipping the impossible ones) on the first night of the flight, and have found the game repetitive since then. Yes, there are the daily challenges, but they consist of nothing but completing matches. I understand that when the game launches there will be a plethora of maps, modes, and skill levels that will help keep gameplay interesting, but this is the exact same issue that I’ve had with MCC since the battlepass first made its way onto there.

Without some kind of xp-per-match system, the game quickly starts to feel like a chore. Yes, it’s fun in the moment - but just like on MCC - it ultimately feels unrewarding in the end. So please, 343, consider taking a second look at the way experience is gained (I hope that the challenge-only system is exclusive to the flight(s), but there’s no way to be certain).

I have to agree, there is definitely an XP drought. After finishing my challenges I am stuck at Tier 10 and it is getting very slow. There is basically no way for me to continue without spending 200cr on a tier skip. I do realise this is a technical preview so maybe there will be other sources of XP, however XP per match would be appriciated. It could be 50XP per loss (participation) and 150XP per win. That doesn’t seem terrible considering you need 500 XP per tier. Challenges seem fine, a supplement that -Yoink!- the XP per match. I am sure that there will be double XP events in the future which will definitely help out too. I like the current MCC Season 7 way of XP it seems like I get a tier every few matches.

I have to admit I do agree with this. There has to be more forms of EXP gain for the battle pass. Those of us that want to binge on the game want to feel rewarded, and flaunt those higher tier rewards before anyone else has them!
