Xbox360 Magazine about Halo 4

Many of you already know this, but for the ones which completely forget this or never saw this, here you go:[

The title says: ā€œMaster Chief faces his thoughest adversary yet-the creator of the Halo ringsā€, but I don’t think we will fight them. Adversary can mean anything…

Wow, that’s something I’m really looking forward to. I just hope they stock them in the stores that I live right near to, I’ve only really ever seen the UK xbox magazine, ā€œXbox Worldā€.

I’m not so sure about trusting OXM right now. Especially after they said Halo 4 was in 2553.

That’s my picture! =D

I took it on my phone.

I made a thread here a while ago that was locked for using a magazine scan. It was about this exact same thing, I will gladly help you keep this thread going but you need to make sure you post no image links!

P.S. It’s not OXM. It’s X360.

Interesting thing here is the singular reference as in not plural, creator not creators.

Here is that thread: http://halo.xbox.com/Forums/yaf_postst68155_X360-Mag-next-issue-tag-line----Forerunners-confirmed.aspx

Really? They said that? If they did, it was maybe just a speculation.

OXM is very well known for getting details wrong.

How can this be leaked content? I thought it was a announcemt in the latest OXM…

LOL @ adversary can mean anything. No, it really can’t.

I posted the link to my old thread somewhere up there ^^

In short, pretty much every single enemy we have fought is an adversary. So yes, it can be anything.

> LOL @ adversary can mean anything. No, it really can’t.

Okay, I will exlain it to you then.

You don’t have to fight an adversary with weapons or fists. An adversary can mean a political adversary or a shool-rival for example. You can face them without having to fight them. Well, in some ways you will fight them, because you want to be the better one, but you don’t need physical power to do this…

I hope you got it.

Except this is X360 and not OXM. Also OXM is never wrong on cover stuff.

So next week we could be getting another Halo 4 cover mag and hopefully the Sparkast.

Except Halo 4 is a first person shooter, not an hour long debate with the Forerunner over the future of the galaxy and who has the right to control the Halo rings.

So a FPS game automatically means, that you will shoot at all moving targets?
Well you obviously didn’t play much FPS games then.

Don’t put words in my mouth.

In this case, it’s painfully obvious that adversary simply means ā€˜enemy’, or ā€˜opponent’ if you will. What do we do to enemies in first person shooters? We shoot and kill them. We don’t sit down with cups of tea and joyfully debate about the universe. I can give a huge list of games that demonstrate this.

There isn’t anything more to it than that.
