Xbox confirmed via Twitter that they will be hosting a stream at gamescon for “new looks at upcoming games”. Could this be where Infinite finally gets a release date?
Considering the relative closeness of the end of August to the holiday season, I’d wager it’s a safe bet. Or perhaps the announcement of the next flight or beta.

I am guessing flight2 26th Aug, so 24th of Aug we might see more halo infinite campaign showcasing and flight2 announcement. But I believe we all are ready to give our money to Microsoft and get this game now!!! I am booking 27th Aug off if flight2 is go.
