With the Windows Store on PC becoming better with the Summer Update, for instance being able to record game clips, could we hope to see Halo Custom Edition and Halo 2 make their way over to the store? Halo Custom Edition is one of the best things to happen to Halo and is one of the first things that happened to Halo.
This would be the first step into bringing mod support to Halo games again especially since games like Fallout and Skyrim are allowing them. Imagine Halo 6 with full mod support like Halo Custom Edition, Halo 6 Custom Edition so to speak. This would bring people back after the glitchy Halo MCC and the lackluster Halo 5 with minimal content. Anyway Halo 6 is their last chance with the majority of remaining Halo players.
I just really want Halo Custom Edition associated with Xbox, be it Windows Store on PC exclusively or Xbox and PC. Then we can get achievements (which we may actually already can get achievements, at least for Halo 2), play campaign co-op (this can work with campaign mods like SPV3), play with controller (don’t think we can use controller), use the Summer Update features, and we can just invite friends from our friends list.

It would be a great way to build mod support on Xbox with their most famous ip.

Modded Halo? YES! I love mods because they make games better! Whats that? A stupid feature? Get a mod to remove it! The game getting boring? Just download a mod for hours of content! Stuck at on a difficult or broken level? Download a mod to cheat past it! The list goes on. Adding the ability to mod one’s own game not only adds the ability to customize their own experience but also allows people to play their own way! I think mod support is the best step any game could take.
