So this is the third time this has happened to me where the game is almost done or just starting and my screen freezes and my Xbox shuts off completely. Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it? MCC thinks I quit and will have to wait for the ban. Thanks
Are you playing H3 or CE? Do you have weapon skins/new H3 armor pieces on? If yes to both of those questions then it’s more than likely the skins causing it because my friend & I had that issue a few months ago & then as soon as we turned skins off it hasn’t happened since. And just as a further test my friend turned skins back on & the FIRST game we got into which was BTB on Avalanche his game crashed & console turned off. But yeah, skins in games that didn’t originally have them cause bugs that I’m pretty sure 343 is aware of. It just sucks that the game crashing isn’t your fault but you still have to deal with the quit-ban consequences.
Just turn skins off, play a few games & see if it still happens.

Very odd! If you somehow replicate this issue enough times, please let us know! I am genuinely curious to see what specifics are causing this outcome. That way at least for the time being I can avoid what ever combo it is haha!
I’ve had this happen to me before and it was extremely frustrating. I found that clearing the cache for the game and hard rebooting my Xbox fixed the issue on my end.
