The Inside Xbox event on 7th of May will be revealing gameplay of Xbox partner games only. That means Third Parties. Xbox Game Studios games (including Halo) will probably not be shown.
I’ll grab a couple of links to prove it in an edit.
As Sir Cool One said, it’s for Third-Party games. However, I’m still hoping for another small teaser for Infinite, even if it’s just part of a trailer for the Series X and Xbox overall.

Nah don’t be embarrassed, they didn’t really make it clear on the announcement; and there is the off chance for a trailer or a teaser like DigitalVanquish said.

The May 7 event is going to focus third party games with a later event for first party (Infinite). I highly doubt Infinite or any other XGS games will be at the 7th event, maybe teasers at most but definitely not full gameplay trailers or demos.

Yep I found the post on the Xbox youtube post! But it doesn’t seem like Infinite will be featured until the next E3 or whatever they are calling it right now. The post said 3rd party games will be shown. That could mean majority 3rd party, or 343 will wait to advertise until they are 100% ready for people to see it.

I really do hope it launches the day the Series X does, because it will definitely raise sales for the console and game. Halo 5 was a little too late to raise the sales of the One. I’m just one of the people that will wait for a sale before I buy a series X, but I’m getting Infinite on launch day.

I’m the opposite. Console will be a day one buy but I’ll be holding off on Halo Infinite. I hope we see some Halo on the 7th but I’m not holding my breath. I don’t know why they would reveal the Series X without Halo Infinite.

I think they will mostly likely save series X and infinite for a later E3, especially since this E3 is 3rd party games. They never said no to any other games, but still, I don’t think they’d show it off now. With the way the xbox one launched… literally with almost no title games, and was mostly advertised for TV and home entertainment stuff, Microsoft might want to go into the big E3 full force.
As for day one buying, Halo is Halo, and depending on the quality dictates how much I play it. I didn’t like Halo 5 much at all, but I still play that every once in a while.
