Xbox Series X Performance Mode isn't selectable.

The Graphics Settings is greyed out, so Performance Mode is not selectable. Is it disabled in the flight?

My guess is that it’s because the Series x is running at 4k 120 fps. There’s no need for performance and quality mode toggle because you’re getting the best of both.

Performance runs at 120fps. There is a difference.

There were always two options for performance and quality in previous flights for the Series x. I still see both options available on mine, so maybe the original poster isn’t on a TV that supports 120fps?

My TV supports 1080p/120hz. Does it need to support 4K/120hz in order to work?

I don’t think you’re getting both. You’re getting one or the other. Either 4K at 60FPS (Fidelity) or 1080p (maybe 1440p) at 120FPS (Performance).

The Halo Infinite test flights has been announced to run at 4k 120 fps on the series x:

The game will run at resolution and fps lower if your tv doesn’t support it and that’s determined by your Xbox video settings but it can go up to 4k 120 fps on the series x.

Are you saying the game will run at 1080p/120fps if I have my Xbox Series X settings at 1080p/120hz on Quality mode?

If you have your xbox in 120hz mode you’ll get 120fps, if you have 60 hz you’ll get 60fps mode.

you can’t select in game atm.

I’m having the same issue. My Xbox and monitor are set to 120hz but my game appears locked on quality mode. The option is greyed out.

Same here. BenQ 1440 120hz monitor. Xbox tv settings set to 120hz. Quality greyed out.

Fixed by going into advanced tv settings and turning off allow 4K.
