Me and my girlfriend have been playing all the halo games and got to Halo Wars 2 and I was excited to play the last game before halo infinite. Unfortunately our coop campaign was littered with issues I’ve never seen before. I am a long time halo wars 2 player and have played the campaign at least 5 times through before this. I just upgraded to a Series X and she is in an original Xbox One. I’ve tested on 2 different internet connections and can’t recommend anyone play coop campaign until these cross gen issues are fixed.

Loading screens for levels would endlessly load - I assume the Xbox series x loads to quick and get confused while waiting.

Some levels go out of sync within 5 minutes causing the level to be unplayable. Mainly awaking the nightmare levels for me but happens in normal campaign too.

still getting disconnects in multiplayer when attempted via cross gen but much less prevalent.
anyone else with issue please let me know, I’m curious if there are more issues and I just want 343 to make the game more stable.
