Hope this comes true, but a lot of the streamers that xbox has on the xbox showcase pre-show are praising the mess out of halo 3. Hope that means something!!!

They know a lot of us well. Pre show guest commentary is pushing the nostalgia factor hard this morning.Some less loyal to the franchise may be rolling their eyes at that (all Halo has is the past; not a good reason to stay relevant) but I am completely fine with this given I am a total victim for nostalgia and just hoping for a good game!
I did kind of cringe when one of the commentators referred to Halo 3 as a “soft reboot” to the franchise. Minor comment not worth dwelling on, but Halo 3 was quite the opposite. It was the most bombastic trilogy finale that clearly built upon all the great things of its two predecessors while learning from their mistakes.
Halo 3 was indeed a masterpiece.
I am still skeptical… I remember the hype for H4 where it was proclaimed “Halo is back!” and then we got a very CODish Halo with all the loadouts and what not. They are saying Infinite will be a spiritual reboot… Which spirit is the question.
Well we have sprint…meh ok. Doesn’t bother me either way, as I have kinda come accustomed to it

Yeah it looks like destiny
