Hey guys and girls,I got me the one x and straight away with all same settings as old Xbox on same 1080p TVs I’m getting crazy input lag along lines of 200ms+ ??? Halo 5 is no longer playable for me… is any one else experiencing this!! And any one know how to fix ?? Perhaps 343 u guys might know a fix?
Lots of people are experiencing lots of latency and lag across the board in Halo 5 at the moment
Same over here.
i just bought an xboxoneX 3 days ago and i have crazy lag i had never had before with my xboxone (FAT 500Gb)
it doesn’t come from the hardware because i am using a Wifi repeater which is only 3 meters far from my oneX and no matter if i connect directly to my router or to the repeater (which has always been working perfectly to increase my signal with my old xbox) i get this crazy lag.
To me it is a network code issue (related to oneX’ network code perhaps?)
it’s getting even worse today (i just tried a warzone firefight game a couple of minutes ago and the thing was crazy unplayable -i was teleporting / rolling back every 5 meters in the game and ending in walls when the thing was more or less stopping lagging…)
A fix would be really welcome.
Yes i have experienced lag as well on smite. Lag into walls or into other players which results in death. Tested my old xbox to make sure it weren’t my IP AND worked just fine.
I am experiencing a similar issue. I first thought it was my TV, so I went through my TV settings and set all of the settings to some recommended values i found on the internet that would decrease input lag. This did not suffice!
Does anyone have a fix? is it my TV or is it my brand new state of the art native 4k HDR Xbox One X that is causing this problem??
I have a Scorpio Edition Xbox One X and Ive seen nothing but improvements across the board for Halo 5…sorry guys =/
I strongly recommend resetting your console to factory and NOT keeping your old profile settings. Keeping your settings when changing consoles has been known to cause problems. I was having the exact problem and this fixed it for me. I had to hardwire for the lag spikes to stop until I reset everything. It is a pain but it worked.
