Xbox One & Windows 10 (Answered)

Checking out the Overview section for Infinite, I saw they have Xbox One AND Windows 10 listed in the platform section. Along with being FPS, 343 developer, and Microsoft publisher.

Whether this is a programming glitch with the site, or means it will be on both. I have not heard anything either way.

The announcement did not reference coming to both platforms, nor any mention of Cross-play, nor Play Anywhere.

Thoughts?

after the eldwrito incident and 343’s response it’d make sense that this would be released on windows. chances are I’m still just going play it on xbox but I kinda hope it’s included with the play anywhere thing so I don’t have to stop in the middle of beating the campaign if I have to leave my xbox for what ever reason.

It would make sense for Infinite to come to PC as well at least in some form since H5 was on PC with limited features.

The description of the announcement trailer on youtube. But it’s only Windows 10 so not sure if it will be fully functional.

Then i guess its also gona be for pc. I wonder if there will be cross play.

Apart from the Waypoint page, as people have mentioned, it is also in the YouTube description of the trailer (both on the Halo and Xbox channels), as well as on the Xbox.com page for the game. Literally, it’s in every official source that mentions the platform of the game. Considering that, and the fact that it has been ran through the media many times already without anything changing, or anyone from Microsoft or 343i saying anything, it’s exceedingly unlikely that it’s a mistake.

Very exciting prospect with either Cross-play or Play Anywhere options.

There is no way my piddly little laptop is running this game. It can barely handle CE or The Witcher 1. lol.

But I am all for Halo coming to PC. Just balance the Mouse & Keyboard v. Controller action thoughtfully & carefully 343. I do a good enough job getting my butt kicked on my own, I don’t need any more help by pin point accurate mouse aiming.
