Microsoft shouldn’t have to announce these things I don’t know why t took them this long to realize we are paying already a lot of money.
Nice, but is this on this forum or halo Xbox one?
I hope there are quickly adapters for turtles.
Great, something I don’t need

Halo Xbox One is really a forum for the specific Halo game coming to Xbox One. Console discussion is allowed, as it may pertain to the game. I just created this thread here as it’s non-game related and specific to the console itself.

Well, considering they are using new adapters for headsets and not the old ones (so the old ones won’t work) then you might need it. (Assuming you chat with friends or use a mic in the first place, of course).
I’m with Erick on this one though. I hope they have a Turtule adapter up pretty quick. I don’t fancy having to buy new ones (although I may need to anyway, given the blasted cats chewed the cord on my last one).
Good that they are shipping with this thing. A headset is something that is necessary and there is no excuse for not shipping one with a $500 console.

Oh, I was just checking because I was a bit unsure.
But Xbox one has been making improvements, self publishing for instance.

Same. It does appear to be an upgrade of the one they shipped with the 360 atleast.
It’ll be nice to have, but I really do hope they come out with adapters.
I have the Halo 4 Tritton Headset… and I like it.

Microsoft have confirmed they have a partnership with Tritton for Xbox One headsets, so expect an adapter from them.
Scratch that, I misread, but I’m sure if Microsoft teamed up with Tritton to make the Halo 4 headset, they’d do it again for headsets in general on the Xbox One.
Ewwwwww!
I don’t like single -Yoink!- headsets especially ones that sit on your ear rather then around it… I had sensitive ears as I kid so if I wear headphones like that they irritate and cause pain in my ears after an hour or two.

Yeah, I never really liked the default Xbox headsets.

Yea they need better designs.

I use it. It’s just fine to me. It doesn’t really hurt my ears, but maybe that’s just me.

The Xbox One headset looks like a huge improvement from the Xbox 360 headset. My only issue with it when I still used the regular one was of how uncomfortable the side that didn’t have the speaker. I could only wear that thing for an hour or so before I had to take it off for a few minutes.
Apparently they’ve changed the piece they used for the Xbox One headset, so it’ll be a lot better compared to previous iterations.
Not that it matters to me, I’ll only be using it until the headset adapter is released for Turtlebeach

NY tasted must be too fancy for Microsoft lol.

This
Now if they would throw in 2 controllers It would be useful.
I really hope their will be a turtle beach adapter, I don’t want to go through another six headsets again.
> Great, something I don’t need
Are you really complaining about getting a headset at absolutely no extra cost?
