PC VS Xbox One question.
I have played hundreds of games of Halo Wars 2 on the Xbox One and found the game to have sloppy laggy controls. Numerous times I give commands and they don’t take. I always had attributed the missed commands to server lag from 343 (my internet connection over 100MB with 20’s pings). The other night I tried the game on my laptop for the first time and I plugged in a xbox one controller. I was blown away at how smooth the game ran and how responsive the controls were. Every command takes, I can highlight mini bases easier and with more precision. The difference in the game is massive to the point I don’t even bother turning on the xbox anymore to play.
So I’m left with the questions. Is it wired controller vs wireless? Is it the PC engine vs the xbox one engine? Have others experienced this with this game?
Do others find the xbox one wireless controllers to be sloppy on this game? I might have interference going on. Currently the USB mini cord I have been using is 2 feet long so that is why I haven’t tried it on the xbox. Although I have no issue in picking up a 15 foot USB mini cord to correct the problem on the xbox one.
My laptop is a gaming laptop from Lenovo with a 6700Hq and 4GB dedicated video card. So I doubt it is my laptops hardware is causing this.
