Could they use game streaming to get around this? Would be pretty sweet if I could just stream the Series X verizon to my Xbone or phone. I played MCC on my phone once and it worked surprisingly well on my fiber connection.
The likely culprit is the new engine mixed with the old ram and CPU, yeah the xbox one and one X have similar CPU’s but that extra .55Mhz on the ONE X with 4 gigs of extra ram and GDDR5 at that.
It’s likely the new engine was optimised with the newer machines and tech in mind and scales better going forwards than backwards.
I imagine you must live somewhere that is harder to obtain an upgrade or something, but if you can get a preowned ONE X and have that middle ground between the newer IMOSSIBLE to obtain consoles.
Again I acknowledge it might not be easy for youi to just grab an upgrade but Ideally you’d want to if possible, the OG ONE is a little bit of a hindrance in my eyes to game development going forward.
