Xbox One (New Experience)

Who’s ready for the new dashboard on the Xbox One? Or if you have it, is it good?

Have had it for about a month now. It’s a -Yoink- load better than the old one. Especially for pulling up player profiles and messages and sending invites. It’s near instant to bring up.

It’s still a bit buggy though, at least while playing Destiny, but it’s been getting better with each update. Sometimes the Dashboard just won’t load and you’ll be stuck in the game. Annoying, but haven’t seen it anywhere near as much since the last update.

When it’s officially launched, it’ll be great.

It’s a bit buggy from time to time; the controller updates have caused a few issues as well (semi-constant disconnections, loss of headset use and so on), but other than that it’s pretty good.

The initial release was quite buggy (to be expected), but certainly a lot faster. Subsequent releases have smoothed everything our a lot more, less app crashes. The 1 annoying issue I had at the start was my controller disconnecting while watching Netflix - had my headphones plugged in so I lost audio - that looks to be fixed now.

Looking forward to the final release - it’s so much easier to navigate now and snapping apps works well once you get used to the new method

It is awesome, i really like it. There still some bug but the navigation, fluidity, visibility … are sooooo much better

I’ve had it for a good while, it’s amazing for speed, game and app launching etc. Obviously since it’s a beta it’s pretty hit and miss whether you encounter bugs, I see myself reporting something every day but it’s a welcomed addition

Looking forward to it hitting, but praying it doesn’t affect Guardians gameplay!

I’m looking forward to it. Willing to wait until all the bugs are ironed out.

I have a friend who claims it keeps turning his Xbox off on him.

It’s certainly a step in the right direction. Sort of shows how bad MS got it at launch when you find a very early Beta UI is vastly superior to the actual live Dashboard. I’ve found the start up time is longer but everything from snapping an App to opening netflix is much faster.

When does the windows 10 launch for the Xbox? November what?

It does indeed do that at the worst possible time.

I’m looking forward to it. It looks like the xbox app on a windows 10. So I’m kind of already familiar. I’m just excited for the other things it brings. Here is a link just in case you do not already know.

I have it already in preview. Everything is great so far. It´s faster, prettier and so on. My only problem is, that my Xbox doesn´t turn off my TV and soundsystem anymore. Even a total reset on the settings didn´t fix it. I hope it gets better when the final software is here.

I don’t like it, cool ideas but it seems like a step in the wrong direction. (not to mention that it never usually works)

It’s good, but at the moment very buggy.

I currently have it. At first it was really buggy but it has been steadily improving. I just pray it works when H5 is released.

I like a lot of the interface things they fixed. But like other said it is buggy.
My biggest bug right now has to do with party chat. I think it was fixed with this weeks update but haven’t tested it enough to make sure.

I am enjoying it, the guide button technically being back is nice, it is quicker to pull stuff up, and everything being snapped on the left side of the screen instead of the right is interesting, yet nice.

So ready!!!
