Xbox one Halo reach

whats the deal with the xbox one reach rumor is it true or false/undetermined

if by chance it does cross over will it be seperate from the mcc pls say yes

if its part of the mcc then fine but at least make it playable

I for one want a seperate title I dont care for 60fps or resolution I really dont I just want to have ALL the reach playlists Unhindered by the spam of other titles.
especially considering the xbox 360 services end later this year

Despite what you may or may not have heard, there has been no mention by 343 that Halo Reach is going to be ported to Xbox One, only that it may be a possibility (but since Halo 5 is out this year, its highly doubtful). As for Xbox 360 services ending later this year, nothing official has been stated by Microsoft as to when the Xbox 360 services will cease, but I honestly can’t see it being this year, specially since developers are still releasing games for the Xbox 360. Plus the original Xbox and Xbox 360 ran side by side for almost 5 years before the original Xbox Live service was terminated in 2009.

its been about a year now its known that 360 will end by march 2016 or sooner

there is no game on 360 that isnt being released for the xbox one or the microsoft store in general
I preffed actual fact support

im going to start playing more reach just in case it ends this year…will probably make a montage if it ends too.

wow just talking about the end of the 360 servers makes me cry.

Like you said yourself, there is no game being released on the Xbox 360 that isn’t being released on Xbox One. But it would make no sense, neither would it be cost effective, for a developers/publishers involved to release any games this year for Xbox 360 if the service for said last gen console ends in the same year. Developer/publishers receive info such as a service shutting down well in advance of us, the consumers. This is how they decide on what platform to develop their games on.

How would developing a game to release on Xbox 360 in 2015 be cost effective to a business if the service was shutting down within the games first year? It wouldn’t and a developer would lose time, resources and money if the game wasn’t going to last very long. For example, why would Bungie release Destiny at the end of 2014 for Xbox 360, if the service would cease in a years time? Specially since they have a whole DLC future planned out for all platforms leading into 2016? Or why would Netherrealm Studios release Mortal Kombat X on Xbox 360 with an online mode if the service wouldn’t be around for very long? Plus there are still games planned for release for Xbox 360 later this year. Click this link to see a list of games still planned for an Xbox 360 release later this year, I think you will find that most (if not all) of these games have online multiplayer modes that require Xbox Live services and many are released towards the end of the year.

So please, provide me with a link to a recent up to date and official source (i.e. from this year) that confirms Xbox 360 services are shutting down this year/early next year. Because as far as I can tell from the games that are still being released, Xbox 360 services aren’t shutting down until at least sometime in 2017. But anything read thus far (unless from a Microsoft source) is speculation and rumour until E3 this year, when Microsoft tend to officially release info such as this.

Highly rated. Well spoken

Even though I would love to see reach gain access to the land of the one, sadly I don’t think that day will come. Especially with the release of Halo 5 later this year and the halo 3 ODST (whenever that’s due to release, but mainly halo 5) 343 and Microsoft would not see fit to release another title. Reach is my favourite game of the series even though my enjoyment of halo 2 campaign and the glory days of halo 3 multiplayer is strong, I think Reach is a huge step forward in series and gaming and truly feel it was one of the best all rounded titles to be produced. Unfourtunaltly it’s most likely reach will be left on old and never appear on the new (halo wars will suffer the same fate). But who knows in a couple years time it might make a return. However it will always be Bungie’s swan song the the halo series, the point of the passing of the torch, and 343 is going on to make that torch burn brighter.

“Reach has been good to me” - Jorge.

‘Burn Bright’

I would LOVE for Reach to be remastered.

I’d like Reach to be remastered and maybe have some new DLC on Xbox One.

I really hope they port Reach to Xbox One via MCC.

I’m sure they will at least port it over. I would be nice to play it with all the DLC since you don’t get to play it now, including the CE remakes.

I would love a Reach addition to the MCC, it makes more sense than ODST lol. At least from the perspective that MC was technically in Reach and not in ODST.

can’t we like get a online patition for people to sign to bring reach to xbox one because if we get a lot of people they would have to port it right?

Honestly, It could happen. Halo: Reach was big on Xbox 360. Will it happen this year? Maybe, maybe not. But if 343 added Halo 3: ODST, then i definitely think they’ll add Halo: Reach.

I would love for Reach to be remastered ala Halo 2 Anniversary.

But, it is one of the titles that will be backwards compatible this fall, so rest easy boys. Reach will be playable on your XB1 soon enough.

I hope Reach comes out on the xbox one as well and if I don’t think they’ll shut down reach on the 360 because there are still a lot of people who play it.

I want halo reach to strive on a little longer

Reach will come, but not remastered. Remember the backwards compatibility update? When it rolls out, you’ll be able to play Reach on the Xbox One.

It should be in the next month or so because gears 3 is on the 16 of this month
