Not sure if this should be in a different section but this is pretty specific to Halo 5…when using the controller in MP, turning seems sluggish as heck. It’s been a few weeks since I touched the campaign but I don’t recall it being this bad. I’m planning on playing a campaign mission tonight to see if I’m going crazy but basically I feel it’s taking way to long to get someone in my cross-hairs and obviously that makes moving targets hell. I don’t seem to have any controller sensitivity issues with anything else I’m currently playing either. I remember seeing some Halo 5 controller profile in the Elite controller accessory app when I initially installed it, though I’m not sure if it’s overriding other settings elsewhere or something…adjusting the sensitivity in game didn’t seem to help too much. Anyone experience something similar or have any pointers for settings resulting in a more responsive turn? Do the changes need to be made in game or in the accessories app? Appreciate any help, thanks!
The Halo 5 settings for the elite controller don’t do anything to the thumb-stick sensitivity… So that shouldn’t be your issue. Just to make sure you should just restore default settings to your controller. After that just play with your settings until it feels comfortable.
Check sensitivity, aim acceleration, & deadzone settings in the Halo 5 controller options.
Then got your elite controller settings and make sure your sticks are set to “Linear”
Thanks both of you, I’m adjusting now and will give it a go.
That controller is wicked for spartan charging.
