XBOX One Controller: Trigger side strafe?

Ever since the latest 1.46 GB patch, using my XB1 controller in Reach has gotten weird. Using the right trigger to fire also causes my character to side strafe to the right. Strafing right works normally using the stick. Essentially, every time I fire i sidestep to the right. If I hold the trigger down, my character keeps strafing.

Obviously this makes the game pretty unplayable. Could someone please help? Is this an MCC issue or did my controller just go bad?

UPDATE: This is an issue with my Xbox one controller. Seems like it happens in every game, the right trigger works but it also activates whatever function is assigned to pushing the left stick to the right.

In other words, this is a mechanical issue on my side. No need for MCC support. :slight_smile:
