Xbox Music

So with the introduction of Xbox Music and how it’ll overtake Zune, how do you guys feel about this?

Once I think about the Zune pass and how cool it was the only turn off is the price. You pay $100 dollars a year for unlimited music; while that may seem like a little, that to me is a lot of money to spend in one sitting… I wouldn’t mind if MS made it were if you have Xbox Live Gold you could pay $50 extra dollars a year and get unlimited music through Xbox Music and for non-gold members you pay $70 a year… it’d be a good way to entice people to get an Xbox and Xbox Live…

How do you guys feel about Xbox music?

It doesn’t affect me in any way. I tend to use my computer as my media hub, and I’ll stream music from my computer to my Xbox with Windows Media Center if I want to listen to music through my TV while playing a game or something. Zune pass is a great idea, but since I’m usually connected to the internet while searching for music, I usually use a streaming service like Spotify, and if I like the song enough, I’ll purchase it through either iTunes or Amazon MP3, depending on who’s cheaper.

It’s probably mostly terrible popular music anyway. I’ll pass. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s similar to the iTunes store.

True that…Recycled music can get repetitive. i stream it from my PC to my xbox or i plug in my extra hDD and select a few play lists i have made for myself. Mainly Video games metal covers…

Not to sound like a total pirate or anything, but why would I or anyone else pay $100 a year for unlimited music when you can just go on something like YouTube and listen to it for free?

And not only that, the Music Industry has gone down a very dark path and hasn’t produced anything solid in years. Why anyone would pay to hear this crap is beyond my comprehension.

Sometimes underground artists offer links to their music on Youtube for free which is another reason why youtube is awesome.

These underground artists could bang trashcan lids together and still come out with more meaningful lyrics than what we’ve currently got.

I just plug my Ipod into my Xbox as an Ipod dock works great !

I’d mainly want Xbox music for my car. Plug it into the 3.5 mm jack and use my phone signal to stream unlimited music to my car. Youtube doesn’t cut it in terms of sound quality for the speakers in my car
