Hi just bought a preowned xbox one halo master chief edition. The console still has the other guys profile and the dowloaded halo master chief ed game. If i reset everything will i be able to still get the halo game with my profile or do i need to leave as is.

I would assume that if you reset it, the game erases.
Plus you don’t know if he had a profile banned from Xbox live , if he did and you tlink your account to that Xbox , you can lose your account to his banned.
It would be smart not to mess with it
