Xbox makes clicking noise

I play with Astro head set so I never heard this clicking noise until today. My brother was on the xbox for the first time in a while playing cod mw3 (COD SUCKS!) and I heard this horrible clicking noise from the xbox. I put in a few different games and some making no clicking noise and others make little. But this cod game makes a ton more noise. The game I tried was Batman and he was just standing there and it made little noise and Halo 3 and I just went into a custom by my self and it made no noise. My brother is playing the first mission of the game and there is a LOT of stuff going on and action and it makes a ton of noise. when the game goes to a loading screen it makes less noise. what the hell is wrong??

It sounds like you may have an older model,or that it is possibly processing harder depending on whats going on in-game. It might be the sound of the disc spinning up and then slowing down.

If it is more of a click noise than a whirring then I would guess your disc-tray is about to crap out. 1-800-4MY-XBOX and pray they do it for free unless you have a warranty(didn’t buy one). Hope that helps
