Be careful with messages sent to you by people you don’t know on Xbox Live. I had the ending spoiled from a message. :’(

If a person on Xbox LIVE sends you a message spoils the game for you, send their Gamer Tag to Community@HaloWaypoint.com, and then block the person.

For those who don’t want these messages, set your settings so you can only get messages from people on your friends list.

Even if it has been spoiled for you, knowing the ending means little in light of the journey.

I really do not under stand why people feel the need to ruin someones experience.

Waypoint’s topic preview feature ruined the game for me…it said “watch out for xbox live messages” and I am thinking “oh, well, this is a thread about how people are jerks” or something, but to be safe, I decided to preview it. NOPE! First sentence effing ruined it for me.

Yeah he is a troll, he was posting the ending on the forum yesterday/last night on an alt account, you can set so you only receive messages from friends until November 6th or something.

Yep, that’s what I did like 5 minutes ago.

I only look at messages from my friends. I delete messages from people that aren’t on my friends list. If it has something to do with Halo 4 I’ll delete it right away and block communications with that person and report them. So far nothing has happened on my end.

I’m truly sorry man. I hate it that people are spoiling the game, and ruining everyone else’s desire to stay spoiler free. And ruining it for the people that simply want to wait until halo 4’s release to find out what happens.

If anyone finds or sees or hears a spoiler or leak of Halo 4, report it immediately!!
Stop people from spoiling or leaking YOUR surprizes in Halo 4!!

You have the right to stay spoiler and leak free. And the fact that people are ruining that, and sabotaging that, is just plain wrong. And I hate it.

I suggest setting your privacy settings to only allow messages from friends on Xbox Live. I did after almost getting spoiled via XBL, but the lovely trolls on waypoint just spoiled it for me anyway :slight_smile: I don’t know if what he said was true, but still.
