Xbox Live Redemption Code

Hello,

So I’ve been directed here by Microsoft’s technical support. I was given a 1 month free code for Xbox Live due to the matchmaking issues from last year.

However, I did not realise that these codes were deleted 30 days after reading them, despite the codes themselves having an expiration date of August (or November?) time. The way I see it, I have every right to refrain from using a code that you provided me, and I also have a right to look at my messages. Now, I would like to redeem the code and take advantage of the wonderful offers that Xbox Live Gold has this week.

Please allow me to spend money at the Store and provide me with another redeemable code. Check my account for previous Xbox Live redemptions.

Thank you for any help you can provide me; and sorry to bother you because Xbox Live Support apparently can’t deal with accounts.

Microsoft Technical support have fobbed you off. 343 have no way to access any of your account details and do not provide the 1 month codes. The only people authorised to do this are Xbox customer support. They have knowingly told you the wrong thing to get you off the phone. Your best bet is to contact them via the Xbox support chat on xbox.com and explain your situation there, and if they tell you to come back here let them know that you know that you know they aren’t being truthful.

You’re wrong (yet again) as was the case in the topic regarding achievements not unlocking on the xbox one or xbox 360.343 has a database of every account that has playtime in Halo,No clue why you think they are in the dark on completely powerless here when they’re sitting on all this information. This company has a public relations department which would not allow them to shrug off valid complaints like this,So…ya,you’re not helping him get his ODST code with your false assumptions about the innermost workings of a videogames company.
