It’s that time of the year again were applications are open for the Xbox LIVE Preview Program, a program were you can get early access to the upcoming dashboard update and test it.
This time around, you need to choose the Xbox 360 Beta option on the Xbox 360 Dashboard, and you’ll be prompted to download a piece of software which will enroll your account & console into the Preview Program.
Keep in mind that spaces are limited so if you want a chance at testing the new dashboard update, sign up now.
What does this Preview contain?
Major Nelson says this on his blog:
“It will include updates to improve overall performance and the ability to conduct transactions with local currency, as Microsoft Points will be retired later this year.”
A message to people who might sign up for the Beta . .
As with all Beta’s there can be bug’s and glitches, some bug’s and glitches can cause unwanted system crashes, systems freezes, network difficulties, account problems, etc . .
If you don’t want to have to deal with such bug’s and glitches, don’t download the Beta app.
Also if you do decide to download the Beta app and take part in the Beta, I highly suggest backing up all of your game save data just to keep such save data safe.
I signed up yesterday. I’m looking forward to seeing how they work their currency.
I hope it isn’t some stupid kind of thing where you can only have set amounts that are purposely high like £10 £20 £50 etc when all you want to do is buy a £1 game.
