Xbox Live Multiplayer Split Screen with non-user Guests

Hey there!

I’ve been very impressed with the new game. I believe split screen for co-op is underway…but I was wondering if 343 ever plans on creating the old school option of being able to play split screen with a local guest who does not have an xbox live gamertag? Even if its unranked matches!?

I miss that option. My friends play on my gamertag and aren’t up to par with my rankings, so I feel bad for the other teammates when we only have 4-5 kills!! I think it would be a great feature to bring back and could even bring more traffic to your online stats.

Anyone else feel this way?!

I’ll second! Split screen is essential to creating bonding moments for the next generation of Halo fans. Co-op comes a close second :).

Right!? @Si_BonBon_120

I feel like Halo Infinite is too self focused. My friends aren’t the best players…but really love the game and want to play. Instead we find ourself watching each other play, taking turns, and playing half the time.

There really isn’t a guest feature? That’s ridiculous if you can’t do that. MCC has the ability, Infinite should as well. Shouldn’t have to create a dummy gamertag for every player.

Yea it really is…unless I am missing something! But I’ve never seen a gamertag(GUEST) playing…I just hope the reason isn’t because the guests won’t be buying “bundle deals” or using the battle pass. If anything it will interest more people to download the multiplayer and even buy the campaign.

This needs to be a a feature.

@Yanni_Geez ‘Modern Gaming’…

There has been a noticeable push towards isolating and emboldening the individual player over the last 15yrs - probably to encourage more system sales and online interativity.

That make sense. I used to play Halo 2 everyday for 5+ hours a day in high school. When I went to art college I stopped playing completely… I guess I just miss the old features Bungie had when I constantly played.
