Ok, so a while back I tried to log into Waypoint using my account, only to be met with "XBOX LIVE ACCOUNT ERROR" in big white text, telling me to either go to Xbox support or sign out. I’ve tried many times, many different solutions, but to no avail. This happens with Halo Channel as well. My friend lent me one of his accounts so I could make this forum post, as I cannot sign in with my own. I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
You need to speak to Xbox Support about this as it appears to be an account issue.
I tried talking to support about this issue and they were completely useless. Seems odd that for an app to work I have to talk to Microsoft?
So wonderful how there is still no solution for a bug since the app was released.
I’m having a similar issue as well. I was able to login via website and circumvent the app, but I have a feeling if I can login to the app my experience overall will be more convenient. I’m hoping to become more active in the community and the app seems like it would be a useful tool for that purpose. Any help or guidance would be appreciated! I do think 343 is about to either overhaul or convert to a new system soon. Correct me if I’m wrong.
