MS released the full specs of the Xbox Series X today along with a couple videos showcasing loading times and the quick resume feature. I am extremely impressed.
Coalition has Gears 5 (probably the best looking game on Xbox right now or at least one of them) running on the XBSX at settings equivalent to max on PC while running at 100fps, they’re trying to get MP to hit 120fps. I can’t wait to see how games designed for this console are going to perform. Halo Infinite at 120fps on a console possibly? Dream come true.
Hope the games that are supposed to run on it aren’t designed so that it will turn into similar problem with the memory as it was with Xbox ONE.
Though I doubt that ganmes will get smaller than they are but maybe they could release when finished so patches wont turn it into over 100Gigs or so as the larger games in XONE are, 1TB will get burned fast if games are of that size & will be reqquired to be loaded similarly.

MS is working on a machine learning technique that is supposed to help with file sizes so hopefully they’re successful and next games will actually be smaller rather than larger.

My first thought exactly. Xbox One had this feature that was broken from day one on most of my games (especially server based games such as NBA 2k).

I just need a release date so I can put the money down. I’ve been saving up gift cards since last summer and I’m pretty sure I’ve got the whole thing covered.
