So I was just about ready to give up on Halo 5, I found it completely inconsistent when it comes to aiming and the xbox one controller gave me hand cramps but I use the Xbox controller for many things including one PC games and to test controller support for some games I work on.
All this use and travelling about had left my controller a bit beat up to say the least, the right trigger was chipped and the some of the buttons aren’t very responsive so I though it’s probably time for a new controller, so I bit the bullet and bought an elite controller hoping it will be more sturdy and the added bonus of the case will hopefully stop it from getting so beat up when traveling about.
I got home and tried a few changes in the setting to try get it feeling right, adding a taller thumbstick on the right stick has gotten rid of my cramp and has helped alot with my accuracy, playing about with the thumbstick response also added to this a lot, I am still working on getting my paddles set how I want them but so far this controller is great, while I may not be used to it yet I can see an almost immediat diference to my comfort levels and my aiming.
Now my main issue with Halo 5 gameplay has been sorted I’m away to try some arena
